Went to Pop Life exhibition at the Tate Modern,with Damien Hursts , Andy Warhol, Pilott Ukainski ,Jeff Koons,Andrea Fraser, Takakasji Murakami, Tracy Emin , Sarah Lucas and more.
Tracy Emin and Sarah Lucas’s work ‘The Shop’ was really interesting , really fascinated by tracy emin and her wacky collections. Bought her book ’strangeland’ while in shop. Half way through her book already, she is a fantastically engaging storyteller... heartbreaking... effortlessly funny’.
I hate Jeff Koons . Thats all i have to say about his work Andrea Fraser exhibited a video. Shocking , did not watch it after read the write up on her project. She initated the project by asking her gallery to find a candiate willing to pay $20,000 to have sex with the artist, with the understanding that they would be filmed and be presented as art work.
